New Mom Charlize Theron: 'I'm a B**ch'

Lest fans forget that Charlize Theron landed herself an Academy Award for her portrayal of a serial killer in 2003's Monster, the actress isn't afraid to remind them where she finds her inner darkness.

So when she was told she "plays evil really well" during the Snow White and the Huntsman panel at WonderCon Saturday, Theron replied with a rather candid response.

"That's because I'm a bitch! Thank you, that's so sweet!" she said. "When I came off the Young Adult press tour and then did press for this, someone said ,'You know, you've been playing a lot of evil -- may I say bitchy characters.' We came to the idea that Picasso had his blue period and this is my bitchy period."

Theron, who confirmed last week she is the proud mom of an adopted baby boy, plays the self-centered, vain Queen Ravenna and stars opposite Kristen Stewart, who portrays the role of Snow White, her stepdaughter.

"It's amazing that we get to do this!" Theron, 36, adds about starring in the upcoming Rupert Sanders-directed flick. "Does it look like we're having fun? We get to play! We get to put crowns on our heads and scream at people and play mean. It's amazing, it's the greatest job ever!"
