Nicole Rash Crowned 2012 Miss America

The lovely Nicole Rash was adorned with the coveted 2012 Miss America crown. after winning the national pageant held in Anaheim, California.



Women from the state and regional competitions from all across America competed in five categories including interview, sportswear, fashion wear, evening gown and on-stage question.



The 27-year-old Saint Louis, Missouri native grew up in Plymouth, Indiana and was crowned the beauty of her previous state in 2007. She went on to compete in the 2008 national pageant and received first runner-up only to come back and win it all four years later.



"She has been featured in several commercials, advertisements, events, and was even in the 2011 Academy Award-nominated film 'Warrior' that came out in theaters on Sept. 9, 2011 and is on DVD now," according to her Facebook profile.



Miss Rash is currently works as a model, actress, as well as corporate spokesperson while completing her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Ball State University. On top of her tremendously busy schedule, she also give speeches to the youth about staying away from tobacco after losing three of her grandparents to smoking related illnesses.
