The actor, known for his roles in The Munsters and I Dream of Jeannie, passed away after a battle with lung cancer.





Actor Digby Wolfe, who was best known for his roles in The Munsters, The Monkees and I Dream of Jeannie, has died at the age of 82 after a battle with lung cancer.





The actor, passed away on 2nd May at home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, according to reports in the AP.





Born in London, Wolfe originally entered the business by performing comedy in the UK in the 60s before later moving to the US where he made his name in both hit TV shows and a number of films including Cary Grant film Father Goose and a voice over performance in The Jungle Book.





As well as a well-renowned actor, he also had a decent number of writing credits under his belt, which included the Emmy Award winning Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.





Following his success, he went on to have a 12 year career in teaching screenwriting.
